Taken during a wedding at Grafton beach using the groom's camera, we all took a moment to enjoy a delightfully clear view of the sun setting below the horizon of the Caribbean Sea.

Cat photo - Cat of the day
Cat photo - Cat of the day is Rocky, aptly named as his rear legs were disjointed from birth, so he tends to rock from side to side as he walks. His jumps more resemble that of a Kangaroo than a cat, but he gets by just fine.

Location : At home, Tobago, Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies.

Wild plants photography : Bird Pepper (Capsicum frutescens) flower. The dainty flowers of the bird pepper plant attract tiny insects required to pollinate the flowers, while the ripened peppers (seeds) attract several species of birds that ingest the hot and slightly spicy peppers (seeds), new plants growing from where the seeds are dropped once they have passed through the bird. Also great for cooking with or even eating raw.

Rambur's forktail Dragonfly (Ischnura ramburii) - Having lunch. Okay, so it's not everyday you get to disturb someone in the middle of a take away in a mangrove woodland, worse still when you close in for a macro photo, most bad mannered of me, but in my defense the dragonfly did not move until the camera lens - with my big head behind it - was just a few inches away. Bon appetit?

Iguana - Lizards of Tobago - Wildlife photography. Sometimes you get a little lucky, as I did here when I came across this Iguana fairly low in tree branches as I walked around in a small mangrove. He had obviously been shedding skin as the front foot shows, and was still catching itself as I stumbled upon it, being generous enough to allow me to get a shot off before taking itself off to safer heights with some speed.

Cat photo - Portrait of a gentleman. I caught Chum resting quietly this afternoon and at my passing he looked up to satisfy himself there was no need to move (which equates to no food being offered). He was kind enough to allow me to take a few pictures, at the cost of filling his bowl with cat biscuits when I was done. Bribery may not get me everywhere, but on this occasion, I did manage a nice photo or two.
Taken at home.

Warming on the forest floor this bush anole seemed indifferent to my presence allowing me the chance for a macro photo of this interesting lizard. Like many in this lizard family the Many-coloured bush anole is know for it's ability to change color to match it's surroundings.

These beautiful antwrens are best found in light woodland tending not to enter suburban areas as frequently as other small passerines. Males are black all over while as this beauty shows females have light plumage from lower face to under belly. Posted to Birds of Tobago
