Yacht racing photography - Close running

For something a little different, as most photographers can imagine if they have not done so, getting up close and personal with racing yachts is a great way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of color, plenty of action and super to photograph. The skipper on the press boat really got us in the action and I had a thrilling time trying to capture the energy of these large and very fast moving yachts.

Cat photo - Cat of the day is Rocky, aptly named as his rear legs were disjointed from birth, so he tends to rock from side to side as he walks. His jumps more resemble that of a Kangaroo than a cat, but he gets by just fine.

It is normal practice in flower photography to lose the background, however I feel in this instance the backdrop places this vibrant floral centerpiece in a delightfully inviting atmosphere. A romantic dinner overlooking the Caribbean Sea, I don't know about you, but that would suit me nicely.

Sunset photos - Majestic Palm Trees. Standing like sentries to time itself tall coconut palm trees stand silently at dusk. Once the lifeblood of the Island, these majestic giants are slowly but steadily falling to bulldozers and what society calls advancement, but real people know better. Sunset photos of private houses and guest apartment buildings just do not have the same appeal to me.

A colourful beach photo of one of Tobago's most popular beaches - believe it or not - well, it must have been busy at some point, look at all those beach chairs! Store bay as it is locally know is within walking distance of quite a few hotels in the Crown point area and really is one of the busiest beaches in Tobago:)
